🛡️ Risk Assessment
Please Read, Acknowledge, Sign and Send Back Signed
All schools/representatives/teachers/parents/guardians are required to read and understand the content of this risk assessment prior to engaging in any activities.
A signed Risk Assessment Activities Record form must also be submitted to THE LAB22. This document refers to each class session by level and the subject or kit used in our premises. It confirms that the school has also informed teachers, parents, and guardians in advance to understand and be aware of the potential risks, and that they have advised the children to take care and follow all safety instructions (including all the kits' instructions), as well as always have an adult supervise any experiments taken home. Where parental or guardian consent has not been obtained, the school will retain the kits on its premises and will not permit them to be taken home by the student.
Risk Assessment Activity Record forms signed must be submitted to: enquiries@thelab22.com

📱 Social Media - Safeguarding
At THE LAB22, the safety and wellbeing of children is our highest priority.
As part of our safeguarding responsibilities, THE LAB22 does not engage in direct online communication with children. This includes private messages, direct replies, or any form of one-to-one interaction via social media or other online platforms.
This approach is in place to protect children’s rights, privacy and wellbeing at all times.
As a science education lab dedicated to children and young learners, we are fully committed to following UK safeguarding standards and best practices to ensure that all our activities — including our digital presence — are safe, ethical and appropriate.
Our social media platforms are designed to share educational, age-appropriate science content that encourages curiosity, learning and creativity.
Children are welcome to view and follow our content, and all material published is carefully reviewed to ensure it is suitable for a young audience.
We strongly encourage parents, carers and schools to:
✅ Follow THE LAB22’s social media channels themselves;
✅ Support and guide their children in understanding and engaging with our content in a safe and positive way.
We believe that keeping children safe online is a shared responsibility between families, schools and educational organisations.
By working together, we can ensure that children enjoy educational digital content while remaining protected in online environments.
If the school wishes, you are welcome to follow us on our social media channels, where we will post all updates related to THE LAB22. Should you also wish to tag THE LAB22 on your own social media platforms, you have our permission to do so, provided that the content is relevant, does not include inappropriate or unsuitable material for children, and maintains a respectful and appropriate tone.
For this purpose, we kindly ask that you follow and/or tag our official social media accounts:
